Monday April 23rd

Today we are experiencing more of the same. Her platelett count is up, her H&H is slightly down. They are continuing to change her medication doseages to accomadate her. She has been taken off one antibiotic and her fever comes and goes. They have limited visitation for the next couple of days so that she can get some rest. She looks the same as she has for the last couple of days. Please continue to pray for her.

Does limiting the visitation seem to be helping? And does she understand why? Or is she just feeling like no one wants to come see her?

She is heavily sedated and although I think it helps to have people there, I am not sure that she is aware of what is going on.

hey everyone, thanks for all the prayers for mom she really does need them. the doctors and staff are working deligently to get her back to her "old" self. unfortunately, the meds are not working as fast as the were intended to work. Renee is doing her best to get mom cured and back home, thank god for her and i am proud to call and have her as a sister. i was reassigned to the hospital and was able to see first hand the work the staff does to help mom, when they have the time and room to accomplish thier task. therefore, the visiting restrictions for my mom are in place to help her get to her home, they have not been totally removed, just limited. i appreciate all the visits and mom knows and will be told of all the concern and prayers she has received. mom is not alone and will never be without love. we just need to let the process take its course and continue to pray for a speedy recovery. i love all of you guys and keep the prayers coming in. fortunately, i just received a call from the prison, i have been reassigned back to the hospital, so i will be able to see mom thruout the night

Please let me know when we all can see grandma. I miss her! Thank you Renee, Auntie Shell, and Paul for all the updates.
